Project Goals:
Generous started as a consumer facing charitable donations platform but soon evolved from B2C focus to a B2B focus. To that end, we began exploring ways to integrate our donation capabilities into partner platforms. We targeted opportunities where people are either already engaging in a transaction (ie at checkout) or when people are primed to give (ie gift registries and memorial donations)
Charitable Donation Product Integrations
I led the design of product integrations that gave our partner’s access to Generous’s database of 1.5 million nonprofits, as well as the technology driving our financial transactions. Our goal was to make it feel seamless and lightweight to the consumer and easy to integrate for our partner product teams.
